Animation Editor
The Animation Editor edits sprite-sheet animations from your asset registry. It shows the sprite sheet with the selected clip's frames outlined, plays the clip back, and edits its frame layout and timing. To animate 3D models instead, see Model animation.
Open it by selecting an animation in the Asset Browser; the Timeline's Sprite tab opens with it. Changes go into the asset registry as Undo steps; save it like any document. Format: Asset registry: animations.
Layout
The top shows a preview of the current frame and the whole sprite sheet. On the sheet, the current frame is highlighted, other frames are outlined, and frames that fall outside the image are red, with a message below.

- Clips have no names; they are numbered.
